**What type of tourney is this?**

This tournament is a duos free-for-all tournament. This tournament will start with 2 qualifying rounds for two simultaneous lobbies (20 teams in each lobby). Teams for the qualifying rounds will be filled on a first come first serve after checking in. After these two rounds, the teams score will be calculated based on kills and placement. The top 10 teams from each lobby will then advance and face off against eachother in the finals. The finals will also consist of 2 rounds. Final prize placement will also depend on the number of team kills and placement points during your 2 rounds.

**Prize Pool**

Each teammate from the winning team will receive the following:

First place team: Magna Keyboard or Burst Pro mouse
Second place team: Kova Aimo or Elo X Series
Third place team: Noz headset or Burst Core mouse

**Tournament Requirements**

Required Number Players to Play: 40
Mode: Duos Free for All
Elimination: N/A - all teams are required to play in all 4 rounds if they qualify
Age Requirement: 12 or older

**Reporting Scores**

It's important that you keep track of your team's number of kills and placement points. This ensures accurate scoring and will help keep the tournament on time. Your moderator will also keep score centrally.

**How to Play**

1.In Apex Legends, all players will join one of our private lobbies - the participant code to join the lobby will be shared 15 minutes before the tournament starts
2.Once you join the private lobby, ensure you are on the same team number as your partner
3.Once all players have joined, the host will launch the first round. If you die during the first round, please do not exit the private lobby. You still have 1 more rounds to compete in for qualifying!
4.The top 10 winning teams from the qualifying rounds will be determined by the number of your points across all 2 rounds (placement + kill points)
5. The top 10 teams from each lobby will then join a new lobby to face off in the finals. The finals will be two rounds and your points will start from 0
6. The teams with the highest points after 2 rounds in the finals will receive prizes listed above!

**How do I calculate my score?**

Your final score is the sum of your team's points across the 2 qualifying rounds or across the 2 rounds of the finals.

Kill points per round:
1 kill: 1 point

Placement points per round:
7th: 4 points
6th: 5 points
5th: 6 points
4th: 7 points
3rd: 8 points
2nd: 9 points
1st: 10 points

Rules

**What happens if I cheat?**
If you are caught cheater, you will be banned from any future GosuNow Apex tournaments

**What happens if I tie?**
This will be at the hosts discretion - likely a fist fight in the boxing arena of Olympus

**Disconnections**
If a majority of the lobby disconnects, the round will be restarted. If only a few opponents disconnect, then the round will proceed at the hosts discretion
